Docent guided tours offer an approx. 1 hour walk through the eccentric third-acre site to see tens of thousands of recycled bottles and unique structures built by hand, by artist Tressa “Grandma“ Prisbrey.  

Tour Highlights and Sights

The Pencil House: A small sculpture built to hold a massive collection of thousands of salvaged pencils and assemblages.

The Doll Head Shrine: A unique display and wall incorporating old doll parts and discarded toys into mortar.

Mosaic Walkways: Paved pathways embedded with-recycled metal, glass, and household castoffs from mid -20th century life weave throughout the length of the site.

The Round House & Shrines: Fantastical and colorful folk-art sculptures made with patterned glass bottles and whimsical assemblages.

Visitor Information

PLEASE NOTE: Bottle Village is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, unpaid volunteer run entity, all fees are strictly used for site-maintenance and preservation usage ONLY. Your generous donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

Location: 4595 Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063.

Access: The site is generally closed to regular drop-in public access and can be visited on pre-scheduled tour dates only Donation Fee $20 per person 

Additionally, concurrent individual VIP tours are available, which include, Lemonade and Cookies, (just like Grandma served), and a small souvenir.  $10. extra. Must be booked up to 7 days in advance of scheduled tour date to guarantee.

Due to damage sustained from the nearby 1994 Northridge Earthquake, parts of the Village remain fragile. We ask visitors to bring sturdy footwear and no open-toe styles whatsoever.

Please note: There are no restrooms or other services on site at this time. A liability waiver must be signed (digitally) prior to admittance on scheduled date.
